Connecting with families

Our approach is rooted in kindness, care, and connection. We want to connect with families to listen, understand, and support each young person’s journey towards happiness and growth.

We recognise that the journey of parenting a child with SEND can be stressful and isolating. The process of securing the right educational pathway often feels less like a partnership and more like a persistent fight against bureaucracy, long waiting lists, and complex jargon. We understand this challenge. Our commitment is rooted in personal experience: members of the Out to Learn team are parents of neurodivergent children themselves. This lived experience means we genuinely recognise the true invisible load you carry, from navigating confusing funding streams to managing the emotional pressure of school communication and endless paperwork.

Our priority is to provide focused, compassionate support and when you connect with us, you are not engaging with a sales pitch; you are engaging with experienced educators and advocates ready to demystify the landscape of SEND provision. We are here to help you evaluate your child’s unique needs and explore all available options.

We are committed to supporting your family in making the best, most informed decision for your child’s future, even if that decision leads you to a provision that is not Out to Learn. Our only measure of success is ensuring your child finds the optimal environment for their wellbeing and growth.

Learning happens when children feel safe. We allow every young person the necessary time and space to regulate, trust, and set their own sustainable pace.
