Locations for growth
Our calm learning environments harness nature’s healing power to restore emotional resilience. Outside the traditional classroom setting, young people can find the space to reconnect with their own curiosity.
Our provision is built around an inclusive learning approach that combines the benefits of both indoor and outdoor environments. We create flexible educational settings, thoughtfully designed with natural elements, to provide a supportive and effective space for discovery and learning. This dual methodology ensures we address the diverse academic and emotional needs of students. We currently operate from two dedicated locations in Hertfordshire at Ivinghoe and Kings Langley.
IVINGHOE
This is our flagship site, a true sanctuary for learning, tucked away in a beautiful, secluded valley directly below the iconic Ivinghoe Beacon.
During term-time, we offer dedicated weekly alternative provision, with a focus on practical science. The setting also allows us to host tailored school trips for students from neighbouring schools.
Sessions are designed to fully immerse young people in their local environment and history through highly engaging, hands-on activities, including fire lighting, geological exploration, and storytelling.
The geology of the chalk downs and the ancient Ridgeway trade route, which passes nearby, ensure a direct link to Neolithic and Iron Age history. We use this rich history to feed imagination and curiosity about the natural world.
KINGS LANGLEY
Our newest facility offers a nurturing, safe and comfortable setting where students can explore academic topics at their own pace. A beautiful outdoor setting, alongside calm indoor learning spaces, create the ideal blend of small-group classroom education, alongside nature inspired experiences.
The Kings Langley provision caters to the unique needs of students with a variety of conditions, including Autism, sensory processing needs, and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. By offering expert support across multiple disciplines, we ensure that each child receives the attention and care they require to make meaningful progress in both their academic and personal development.
By working closely with parents, schools, and local authorities, we craft flexible, individualised learning programmes that nurture both academic growth and personal development.
By stepping outside the traditional classroom, learners have the space to breathe, explore, and reconnect with their curiosity.
